Reigns is a medieval-inspired strategy game that puts the player in the shoes of a monarch who must make decisions in order to maintain balance within their kingdom. Using a simple swiping mechanic, the player must navigate through a never-ending stream of requests from advisors, allies, enemies, and peasants, all of whom have different motivations and may hold the king responsible for any misfortune. The game’s unique selling point is its unpredictability, as each year brings new challenges that may throw the player off balance. A key component of the game is the player’s ability to expand their dynasty, forging new alliances, making enemies, and navigating through centuries of history that include scientific enlightenment, wicked politics and burning witches.  With an immersive score and intriguing art direction, Reigns offers an eclectic experience that will challenge players to think on their feet and react to the constantly changing world around them.
