RPG Quest: Minimæ is inspired by early top-down console RPGs such as Dragon Warrior. The king gives you a quest to return the 8 rings of his kingdom. As you find each ring, your HP increases, and you can buy better weapons in the shops found in the towns scattered around the open world.
Combat is first-person and turn based. The art and music are NES-style. There are a few side quests, and some extra mini-games (such as gambling) to play in the towns. There are also numerous hidden gold caches to find as an extra bonus for players who like collecting.
