Ruins Seeker (2020)

An adventurer named Quem is the first person to step foot inside "Heaven’s Ladder" in 500 years. But not long after, she’s cursed by a strange, shadowy monster. Now she must reach the top of Heaven’s Ladder, and hopefully, break the spell.

Ruins Seeker is a classic-style action RPG game that takes place in a dungeon called “Heaven’s Ladder”. The player takes on the role of Quem, an adventurer who explores the dungeon in order to break a curse cast upon her by a shadowy apparition. Quem teams up with another adventurer named Vise to uncover the meaning of the apparition’s mysterious words and explore the dungeon, switching between melee and ranged weapons to defeat enemies. The game features a subquest system, where players have the opportunity to take on additional challenges to earn rewards, as well as a weapon enhancing system to upgrade weapons. The ability to replay cleared dungeons adds to the game’s replayability. The game is developed by a Japanese indie studio and is available on Steam.
