About the game

Seventh Sense is an interpreter for play of the Project Aon ebook versions of Joe Dever’s Lone Wolf gamebook series, currently allowing computer-assisted play of the first dozen of the 28 gamebooks in the series.  The interpreter downloads gamebook data and cover artwork to online computers as needed.

In these gamebooks, the player makes choices on behalf of the titular Lone Wolf, a kind of psionic ranger more formally known as the last of the Kai Lords.  Over the course of the books, Lone Wolf travels the length and breadth of the land of Magnamund in efforts to thwart the Darklords’ conquest of his native Sommerlund.

Unusually for gamebook series, readers play the role of the same character throughout the series, and hence successful players can continue play from book to book with the abilities and possessions achieved in previous instalments, making for a species of extended campaign.
