Dream Traveler is the first Korean-made role-playing game, and also the first to fully use Korean script (Hangeul) for interaction. The game is heavily influenced by early Ultima games, having a very similar premise of a lone hero traveling to a fantasy land, where he meets the ruling king named after the programmer (in this case Inhwan Nam) and goes on a quest to rid the land of evil. Like in Ultima games, commands (including battle actions) are text-based. The player can freely roam the overhead map, and also gains access to faster transportation methods such as horses and ships.
