Steam Pirates

Steam Pirates is a side scrolling RPG where the player assumes control over (at first) Kat, a human that was raised on “Cat Island” by a couple of infertile cat people. As she grew older she was tormented by the other cat children for being different. Once she got older she decided it was time for her to set off and find out who she really was and where she came from.

The story line takes places several years after she set off to find her true identity and has now become a very successful mercenary.

The player receives missions from various NPCs. While traveling through the side-scrolling world, the player battles various different types of enemies, in a turn based RPG battle system, using different types of weaponry.

Throughout these various missions, the player receives new weapons and experience points, which result in a higher level, which then in turn results in more health/mana/damage.
