The game promotes a gameplay style reminiscent of the RTS ancestors, requiring players to build and manage an economy, establish bases, capture space stations, and spawn units to combat enemies. One of the selling points of Stellar Warfare is its emphasis on personal customization. The game offers over 60 ship frames, 50 weapons, and 25 modules, providing a myriad of options for players to modify their units and create bespoke fleets. The loot plays a significant role in its gameplay, and enemies often drop ship frames, weapons, or blueprints, upon their defeat.
