Gamers can customize their team by choosing which Gems to include and can unlock new abilities, upgrades and alternate costumes. Changing formation in battle provides an advantage, and players can team up in amazing combo attacks and Gem Fusions to play as Smoky Quartz, Sunstone, Rainbow Quartz 2.0, and Obsidian. The game also features an original story co-written by Rebecca Sugar, and players can enjoy voiceover from the Steven Universe cast and special guest star Christine Baranski.
