RPG Gamers summary

The Count Lucanor is a retro-style survival horror game developed by Baroque Decay Games. Players join Hans, a poor boy who sets out into the woods and gets trapped in a creepy castle, haunted by strange creatures and secrets. As they navigate the Tenebre Castle, they must use their skills to avoid traps, hide from enemies, light their path with candles, solve puzzles, and talk to NPCs, all while trying to uncover the sordid secrets of the castle and earn the treasure promised to them by the kobold. The game offers multiple endings, different choices, and subplots, allowing players to shape the outcome of the story. With a soundtrack made with chiptune tools, featuring classical music from Johann Sebastian Bach, The Count Lucanor is a unique and immersive horror adventure game that draws inspiration from classic games like The Legend of Zelda, Yume Nikki, Silent Hill, and Dark Souls.
