Game Details

This world’s people live in a kingdom known as Ganseld, entirely contained within a skybound castle held up by the power of a jewelled tower. Its citizens have kept apary from the world below for generations, believing it to be filled with scavengers and demons. One day, however, the tower collapses and the twelve GEMs that keep it up scatter, threatening Ganseld’s very existence. The three regents call for the illegitimate prince, Dino, and send him to the surface to gather together the GEMs so that the tower can be restored in the short window of time before the castle itself collapses. Should he succeed, in return they promise to restore him to power.

Twelve GEMs is a traditional Japanese RPG featuring turn-based combat in a 2-on-2 setting. Players are able to draw on the support of Hermits, the special beings whose power is sealed away by each of the GEMs, with a new Hermit joining them with each GEM they locate. The player’s magical pocket watch features GEM slots in which the player can equip the GEMs they’ve equipped to activate new abilities, and as their journey continues they’ll be able to upgrade the pocket watch to add more slots. In addition, the weather effects in different regions have an effect on the player’s skills, requiring a strategic selection of abilities.
