USC: Counterforce is a turn-based squad-tactics game set in a sci-fi universe. Players take command of a strike team of commandos sent to a mysterious planet to investigate and neutralize an alien threat. The game features an in-depth RPG-lite system with complex character attributes and skills, detailed combat mechanics, and elaborate inventory management. There is a class-free skill system with many passive abilities, and a variety of weapons and ammunition to choose from, as well as hacking tools, mines, turrets, armor and weapon upgrades.
