Every night, one of the villagers is killed, leaving the survivors to navigate an ever-changing path through challenging environmental puzzles. As you explore the stories and grief of the townsfolk, their interdependent relationships heavily influence the story and quests you receive, making each playthrough a unique experience. To stop the killings and save the community, players must overcome new challenges by entering a randomly chosen puzzle dungeon, using tools and the environment to reach the center before it’s too late. Featuring themes of grief, community, nostalgia, and loss, Vidar is a complex game that challenges players to consider the impact of their actions on those around them. With four unique puzzle biomes and randomly generated storylines, each playthrough promises an ever-changing, dynamic experience.
