Players take on the role of one of three survivors of the slaughter of Castagath, who were rescued by Grand Inquisitor Heimlock and trained in the military academy to become perfect soldiers against the supernatural. Players will need to wield a variety of weapons and find their own playstyle thanks to their unique stances and combos. With the Resource Opposition System, players will have to manage their Rage and Willpower resources, as well as Stamina, in order to survive. Gear up with common, magical, rare and legendary items, and customize their skills with modifier points. Players will also be able to shapeshift into one of four Celestial incarnations, each with their own unique skills and ultimate abilities. With the Cryengine technology, Wolcen offers beautiful visuals and 8 hours of epic orchestral music. Players can also customize their appearance by switching the visuals of their armors and weapons, and looting and crafting to improve their gear. The game also offers two different difficulty settings, regular updates and seasonal events.
