Xiake Yingxiongzhuan: 25 Zhounian Jinianban

For the 25th Anniversary of one of the first Taiwanese RPGs, Kingformation released a remake of their classic RPG Xiake Yingxiongzhuan

The game takes place in the Ming Dinasty China. Once upon a time there were five martial arts schools co-existing with each other and constantly fighting for dominion. However, one day, worshippers of the devil sought to take control of all the martial arts schools. The protagonist, whom players give a name to, opposes this takeover and travels through Guangzhou, Sichuan and Wuchang to reach the lair of the Devil worshippers to stop them from their evil plans.

Battles are encountered randomly and combat uses a turn-based system similar to Dragon Quest. Players can raise the protagonist’s HP and Chi power and use spells and items in combat.
