Yo-kai Sangokushi is a spin-off of the Yo-kai Watch series for the Nintendo 3DS. It is a collaborative game between Koei Tecmo and Level-5. It is based of Koei Tecmo’s Romance of Three Kingdoms series. The game is a turn-based tactical role-playing game, but with the character having rankings, like in Yo-kai Watch 2. The main protagonist is chosen by the player, which are Jibanyan, Komasan, and USApyon. The game starts with Jibanyan and Komasan exploring a library. While they are reading a mysterious book, they were suddenly pulled inside of the story. They are soon followed by USApyon, and depending on which the player picked in the beginning the story is different.
