Yo-kai Watch 1 Smartphone is a remake of the original Yo-kai Watch. The game is similar to Yo-kai Watch 1 for Nintendo Switch, with changes made for the game to better fit smartphones.
The changes include:
- The game being played via widescreen, where a horizontal display isn’t supported.
- Touchscreen controls for the entire game.
- The map is moved to the top-right corner of the scree, while the objective is moved to the top.
- An exclusive reward system has been added if a Level-5 Account is linked.
- Communication support has been removed.
- An auto save feature.
