Changes Made to Solo Mode in Latest Update for Lost Ark

A new update for Lost Ark has been released which introduces a lot of changes and new content to the game. One of the highlights is the update made for Solo Mode. In particular, players can look forward to taking on the Thaemine Legion Raid and Echidna Kazeros Raid for the first time in this mode.

Destined Protection

Still on Solo Mode, players can now get a Destined Protection buff once they manage to successfully complete specific important patterns. There are also new buffs added to the game. One of these is the Death Escaper buff. This is pretty much a spin on the Self-Reliant buff which allows players to survive wipe patterns or falling, something which normally cannot be survived by the Self-Reliant buff.

Players can check their achieved destined protections on the left side of the screen. In addition, they can have a maximum of three Destined Protections per gate. Destined Protections obtained from the previous gate won't apply to the next gate and need to be re-earned by meeting that gate’s conditions.

New Content

The new update also adds the Kazeros Raid Act 2 Prologue Quest. This one covers the story of how the Allied Forces were able to come up with a new strategy to overcome the current situation for the ongoing war in North Kurzan.

As players progress through the prologue quest, they’ll learn the new strategy of the Allied Forces. Players can get the prologue quest “Paving the Way to Victory” from NPC Meehan over at the Abidos Garrison.

By the way, players need to have completed two other quests to access the new one. These are the North Kurzan Quest “The Path to Take” and the Kazeros Raid Act 1 Prologue Quest “Where the Volcanic Ash has Settled”.
