A new update forSolo Leveling: ARISE has been released and introduces a surprising new Hunter. Get ready to meet Sung Jinah, who’s now been added to the roster of playable characters.

Sung Jinah is the sister of the main character, Sung Jinwoo. While she doesn’t awaken as a hunter in the original story, the game sees her becoming a wind-type SSR Mage. Her exclusive weapon is known as “Blue Monsoon” and with it she performs a fierce stab which results in air being expelled from the tip of her spear and creates a shockwave which deals extra damage. Her ultimate skill is called “Stormwin Serenade.” It has her clear gloomy weather by swinging her umbrella and then summoning a deadly typhoon.

As part of Sung Jinah’s arrival to the game, Sung Jinah and Seorin get access to new costumes. A new Job Change costume meanwhile is available for Sung Jinwoo called “Reminders of Silence.” Speaking of Jinwoo, he also has a new Job Change class which is “Monarch of Shadows: Code Breaker.”

New Growth System

The new update also comes with a new growth system called “Amplification System.” This new system allows players to further enhance Transcendent rank Skill Runes and Blessing Stones. Take note that amplifying a Skill Rune increases final damage while amplifying a Blessing Stone results in getting additional Attack, Defense, and HP. It should give players more options when it comes to strategic customization.

Other New Content

The update adds Chapter 26 to Chapter 29 of the Main Story. In this one, players get to experience the intense battle versus the Architect at the Cartenon Temple.

There’s also a new challenge mode known as “The Architect’s Trial.” This one replaces the former Battlefield of Trials Challenge. It features fearsome boss monsters and offers greater rewards at higher difficulty levels.

Solo Leveling: ARISE is an action game adaptation of the hit webtoon, Solo Leveling. Players take on the role of Jinwoo and experience his journey through the beloved webtoon tale firsthand, leveling up, taking on dynamic battles, and even coming up with their own combat styles by selecting different combinations of skills and weapons. The game is already available on mobile platforms with a version set to be released on Steam sometime this year. In addition, the Steam version is now named as Solo Leveling: ARISE OVERDRIVE.
