Ever played a game where you're a bad guy doing good? That's exactly the premise of Turn By Turn Villain. Developed and published by PixelSlop, the game has players take on the role of a demon that's forced to be in the human world.

There's no word yet on when this turn-based action RPG is officially coming out but it's going to be available for the PC through Steam. However, while waiting you get to enjoy what the game can offer through the demo that’s now available to download.

The Bad Being Good

The story starts with darkness spreading and people beginning to give in to despair. This is all because of you, being the demon of course. However, there is still some redemption for you. Simply get rid of you own evil forces that plaguing the land, gather light to clean up the darkness, and make the people happy.

One of the unique features that the game offers is its innovative battle system. This is where you get to choose your actions through a classic menu though you'll have to react quickly since your enemies won't stop attacking. Since the game is turn-based, you'll need to keep a close watch as well on what's known as Turn Points. This results in your actions being limited to a certain. It shouldn't come as a surprise since as a demon, this is actually part of your punishment.

To survive, you’ll need to make sure that your character gets stronger and dispel the darkness. In order to make this happen, you’ll need to fight and defeat your ex-minions and obtain the Shard of Light. Get to enjoy a land that’s full of secrets and quirky characters which have been rendered in charming pixel art.
