Combat in Aethermancer has been made easier with the latest update. That's because the Combat Inspect feature can now be accessed directly in combat.

What it does is during combat, it allows players to check everything, and by that the development team mean everything. Once activated, players can see the active buffs and debuffs, perks, traits, equipment of monsters, and even actions of enemy monsters. They can also reset actions and poise.

While this is already convenient, there is still a plan to improve and polish the combat inspect feature in the future.

Aethermancer is a game where Monster Taming meets Roguelite. Players take on the role of Aethermancer as they fight beside mythical creatures. They can explore the ever-changing Fractured Ruins, plan moves in challenging turn-based battles, and watch Monsters grow stronger from previous lives and defy death.

The monsters of Terastae have defied the virtues of the world and have been trapped in a cycle of death and rebirth. Players can use their special ability as an Aethermancer and form bonds with monsters. These same monsters can then guide the party of three through a sprawling world and dangerous battles. It's important to make smart skill choices as the monsters grow stronger and find synergies between the monsters.

Aethermancer has players fight against ferocious enemies and divine bosses in engaging turn-based battles. They’ll have to manage and harness the four elements of Aether to release powerful spells.

In the game, when a monster dies in combat, players lose it permanently. However, they have to power to defy death by rebirthing their souls so don't lose hope. It's also possible for monsters to change in the process. However they'll still be the same companions players once established a soul bond with and will grow stronger from their previous lives.

For every level players increase, they get to decide the direction their monsters grow. Each monster comes with a dynamic skill pool which reacts to previous choices along with other monsters in the team. This should allow players to create truly powerful teams. They can also experiment with various team builds with each run.
