The food-focused game Cuisineer is set to be released this November 9 and to be available for the PC through Steam. Players take on the role of Pom, a young adventurer turned restaurateur, who explores a lush world and defeats monsters with their trusty spatula.
The game follows Pom, who returns to her hometown of Paell only to find out that the family restaurant is not only closed for business, but her parents are now deep in debt. It is now up to her to re-open the restaurant and make sure that it thrives. She'll need to go on adventure outside Paell wielding her cooking utensils. Along the way she'll need to fight against pesky perils that include artillery shrimps, giant chickens, and even fire-breathing peppers, to name a few. She'll need to collect ingredients, cook up a frenzy, and turn this derelict restaurant into a sensational business.
A Culinary Experience
The game gives players the chance to try out more than 100 different recipes. They need to be sure to serve the right dishes to the right customers. Of course, players also have the ability to customize their kitchen and dining hall through the assistance of the local artisans.
Dungeons and Monsters
There are a lot of dungeons to explore in this exciting world. From the Green Ruins to the Frozen Fjord, and even the Konpeito Swamps, to name a few. Each dungeon is procedurally generated and changes their size, shape, and resources for every visit. That means each playthrough is always unique.
Explore the Green Ruins, Frozen Fjord, Konpeito Swamps and other procedurally generated biomes that change their size, shape, and resources every time you visit. Along the journey, Pom can knock out rivals and monsters through the Salty, Sour, Sweet, Bitter, Umami, Frosty and Toasty powers. There’s also the option to use unique utensils and gourmet gear that include a Spatula, Tenderiser, Swordfish, Smackerel.
Go on Quests
There are a lot of sweet and spicy townsfolk in Paell that Pom can befriend like Naicha the Bubble Tea seller or Alder the big friendly blacksmith. While inside dungeons, players need to keep an eye out for items that people in the town may need. In return, they'll be rewards with new items, gold, and even new recipes.
