A new update is now live in Once Human and officially introduces the Cross-Character Sharing feature. The feature allows for more resources to be shared along with being transferred across all characters on the same account. This should allow players to have greater freedom to play the way they want.
While this is indeed exciting, developer Starry Studio is telling everyone to hold their horses for a bit. In a post, the studio said that considering the complexity of this feature, the plan is to implement it in phases as a way to ensure stability. Full implementation is expected to occur by March 28.
All systems and assets that are affected by cross-character sharing are going to be labeled as such in their respective descriptions. To activate sharing for certain assets, players need to log in with all existing characters. Characters who have not activated cross-character sharing are labeled as such in the server selection list.
Shareable Content
With the update now available, players can share these content:
- Mods
- fashion items
- stickers and actions (excluding stickers obtained from the Meta Pass)
- hairstyles and makeup
- furniture cosmetics
- namecard-related cosmetics
- weapon skins
- recipes acquired during scenario exploration
When the full implementation is done, these content are going to be shareable:
- Stellar Stairway
- Wish Machine
- Blueprint Collection
- blueprints
- blueprint fragments
- Starchrom
- Phantom Cubes
Some Notes
The studio also shared that from March 26 to March, Wish Stones are unavailable at the Challenge Shop. After players are able to synchronize Wish Machine data for sharing, all existing Wish Stones are lost. Lost Wish Stones though are reimbursed through in-game mail within 24 hours. Then beginning March 31, Wish Stones are then going to be available at the Challenge Shop again. There is however a purchase limit of one Wish Stone per account per month.
Once Human introduces players to an open-world and survival game where they get to explore an absorbing post-apocalyptic Earth overrun by an extraterrestrial entity known as Stardust. Combat is a core feature of the game as it offers exhilarating battles versus diverse enemies along with fights against powerful bosses from another realm. In addition to ensuring survival, the actions of the players in battle play a role in the welfare of other survivors.
