Good news for console players! After being released for the PC last year, Cuisineer is coming to consoles next year. The wait won’t be too long since the game is going to be available for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch beginning January 28, 2025.
There’s going to be a physical Day One edition of the game available for pre-order. It’s priced at $49.99 and in addition to the game, it comes with the official soundtrack that features at least 40 songs. There’s also an art book having more than 160 pages of illustration and a “face” towel. Players can pre-order it at the Marvelous USA Store or at participating retailers. Digital editions are also planned to be offered with details to be announced later.
By the way, any new content and features that’s going to be released for the console versions is also going to be made available as well to the PC version.
Cuisineer invites players to an extraordinary culinary journey that combines the realms of dining, adventuring, and gaming in truly enjoyable ways. It’s food-centered adventure game with players taking on the role of a character returning to their hometown of Paell. There they learn that their legacy, a family restaurant, has been closed and is in debt. To bring back the restaurant to life, it’s up to the players to attract new patrons and to do that they’ll need to dive into the world’s dungeons to collect ingredients and then use these items to prepare a bevy of exquisite dishes.
Cuisineer offers players a multifaceted experience with dungeons coming alive with their own ecosystem and beasts that include the likes of giant chickens, artillery shrimps, and even fire-breathing peppers. With these ingredients, it’s up to the players to create delectable dishes from more than 100 global recipes. There’s also a combat system which corresponds with the game’s food premise. It’s also a community-driven game with players needing to build relationships with the townsfolk of Paell who help with the progress and offer opportunities to complete unique quests.
