Destroy Enemies and Save a New World in Rogue: Genesia

Ouadi Huard announced that version 1.0 of Rogue: Genesia is now available worldwide. The game can be accessed for the PC via Steam and right now being offered at 34% off.

The biggest change from the early access version is the addition of the A-rank World. It's going to be easy snice for starters, players need to have completed 20 challenges to access it. This world is going to have corrupted enemies, which are rare and powerful variants of non-elite monsters. There's also a swarm stage that can appear anywhere.

New Challenge

Of course, a new world brings with it new challenges. Here are some of the new challenges available in Rogue: Genesia through the A-rank World:

A-rank challenge "Rooted"

Final damage applied to enemies' exponent is rooted (scales with challenge level)/

A-rank challenge "Vanilla"

Disable Equipment

Disable Talents

A-rank challenge "Blood-Handed"

Each enemy killed increases base corruption by 1

Each elite killed increases corruption multiplier by 10%

Each boss killed increases final corruption power by ^1.1

Corruption reduces your damage (Applied after Purification effect)

Game over if the corruption exceeds 10^38

A-rank challenge "Soulless Champion"

Disable Soul-Shop

A-rank challenge "Pacifist"

You no longer have a weapon

All stages are survival stages

Bosses slowly take damage over time

You gain experience over time based on the stage you are in.

A-rank Hardmode challenge "Rooted Cubed"

Final damage applied to enemies' exponent is rooted (scales with challenge level)

Final damage applied to player exponent is cubed (scales with challenge level)

A-rank Hardmode challenge "Purist"

No Card pick-up at the end of stage
