Dungeon with Girl tells the story of dungeons, mysterious labyrinths that's found all over the world which have existed for longer than recorded history. It's a place that is filled with treasures and monsters. Each dungeon has drawn countless to its gates with some seeking fame and others seeking fortune. Adventurers journey to their depths day and night and a lot don't make it out alive.
Despite the danger, people keep flocking to these dungeons and as a result towns were eventually built and developed around them. Now, a young man arrives in town with the goal of unraveling the mysteries to some of them.
Meeting the Characters
Players take on the role of the main character who makes his way to town after being drawn to the mystery of the dungeons. They'll need to form a bond and deepen their relationship with Monica. She serves as the heroine of the story. She's a cheerful and carefree adventurer who, as a result of unexpected circumstances, ends up joining the main character.
Game Mechanics
One of the key features of Dungeon with Girl are "Action Points." These can be used to trigger events or have players engage in battles within the dungeon. For those who run out of Action Points and decide to press forward, they'll experience damage. Action Points can be recovered through specific events or using certain items.
As players make their way across the dungeon, they'll be receiving more "Corruption." If the Corruption exceeds a certain level, players encounter what's known as "Demon of the Dungeon." In addition, during dice rolls, around 10% of the current Corruption is deducted from the result.
Speaking of dice rolls, these are what determines the success or failure in dungeon events. Players can increase their Luck with equipment which can result in improving rolls.
While in the dungeon, it's important to remember that each item comes with a set "weight." If the weight limit is exceeded, it results in players being unable to act. To avoid this from happening, they should need to regularly store items in the deposit box in the room or even sell/discard unnecessary items.
