It's been more than a year since ELEX II came out for PC and consoles. More players are expected to enjoy this sci-fi role-playing game with the release for the Mac. The game is a sequel to ELEX and brings back players to the world of Magalan.
There are massive environments just waiting to be explored through a jetpack. With this jetpack, players can go to the spires of ancient skyscrapers or go down into the abyss of subterranean caverns. There’s no question that every corner of the world is theirs to discover.
A New Threat Arrives
The game takes players years after the Hybrid was defeated by Jax. A new threat arrives which releases the dangerous powers of dark Elex and endangering all the life on the planet. To defend the safety of his own family and ultimately the peace on Magalan, Jax is left with no choice but to embark on a mission and try to convince the different faction to band together against ths invaders. He also must find Dex, his own son who got separated from him.
Players are invited to dive into this huge and hand-crafted world that's completely unique. They also get to interact with multiple factions and experience diverse environments that's set in a post-apocalyptic and science fantasy universe.
Meeting NPCs
One interesting feature of the game is that players get to explore a lived-in world that’s full of unique NPCs. These same NPCs remember what the players have done and then react accordingly. That’s not all since depending on how the players behave, they either join the group or leave. Unlike in other games, the NPCs can be killed, and this has an effect on the story.
Mac Version
For the Mac version of the game, the minimum system requirements is an Apple MacBook Air 13 Late 2020 with M1 and 8gb having 45 GB Disk Space. For non M1, the minimum requirement is a MacBook Pro (16-inch, 2019) with the AMD Radeon Pro 5500M at 4GB or 8 GB.
Meanwhile, the recommended system requirement is an Apple MacBook Pro 14" M1 Pro 8-core 14-core GPU at 16 GB (or any M1 pro) and 45 GB Disk Space.
