The collectible RPG Dragon Spirits 2 is now available for the PC via Steam. The game takes players to a world where there are virtual dragons. In celebration of the release, it's being offered at 20% off until September 30.
The game puts players in the role of a game developer who's living in Metapolis. Her ordinary life is disrupted one day when the dragons from the game she developed has suddenly appeared in reality. While she's been able to form contracts with these dragon spirits, she soon learns that the real world is actually being invaded by even more dragons that have unknown origin. Because of this, the once vibrant city is no longer simply a sleepless town having bright lights. The minds of the people are slowly being contaminated and the line that lies between reality and fiction has been blurred.
As a pactsealer, players go on a journey with the dragons and learn more about the mystery behind these events. Along the way they form bonds with more dragon spirits and ultimately bring back the city to its former glory.
Dragon Companions
In the game, players get to assemble their very own dragon spirit team and get to command them in battle. However, to recruit them to the team, they'll have to fulfill their unique needs. Once they do get to have those dragon spirits on their side, each one brings with them their own strengths and has specific team roles. That means players need to have some careful consideration when it comes to training them and in battle. To succeed, they'll have to analyze each ability of the dragon spirit and come up with a unique combat strategy. They also need to adjust their stats through skill setups and equipping items.
Exploring the World
As mentioned, Metapolis is a vibrant place, but has since become chaotic resulting from the virtual world contamination. Scattered across the city are special zones known as Cocoon, which are the reason why the boundary between reality and virtual is breaking.
In the game, players get to explore different Cocoons, each one chaotic vortex of unstructured information and lurking dangers. Inside are wild dragon spirits and other enemies waiting.
