In State of Survival you're challenged to try and survive a zombie war. If that isn't hard enough, things are about to get even worse. Developer FunPlus has announced a new collaboration with Capcom to bring the world of Resident Evil to the game. This is sure to be one unforgettable gaming experience for everyone.
Welcome to the Village
This new collab is divided into two phases with the first one kicking off last October 27 and focuses on Resident Evil Village. What's going to happen is that players in State of Survival get to team up with legendary heroes of Resident Evil like the iconic Chris Redfield. Then there's also the villains like the formidable Lady Dimitrescu.
In terms of story, what happened is that the deadly fungus developed by GigaCorp known as the RA13 has ravaged the globe and resulted in the rise of a menacing mutant. The heroes Sarge and Becca, join forces with Chris, to fight against the new threat which is Lady Dimitrescu.
Evil Returns
Meanwhile the second phase starts December 1 and is all about Resident Evil 4. In this one, players get to meet the heroes Leon S. Kennedy and Ada Wong. No other information has been revealed for this phase.
New Content
In addition to unlocking playable heroes, the collaboration also adds new themed HQ skins, Settlement decorations, and even Avatar frames, to name a few. All of this are geared to making sure that players get to immerse themselves in this truly unique crossover event.
Talking about this newest collab, FunPlus Chief Business Officer Chris Petrovic shared in a statement that they're happy to have been able to collaborate with Capcom and that the synergy between these two franchises are incredible and "makes for a perfect fit." He went on to say that the Capcom Team was delighted to have been able to collaborate with them.
