What happens when you combine reptilians, time travel, and some historical figures? It's a game titled Reptilian Rising. This turn-based and time-travel tale is set in an 80s inspired world and has players rule over the forces of good and evil.
You see, it seems as if the timeline and everyone in it is under siege. To fight against the Ouroboros, you'll need to go through seven time periods and along the way recruit some of the best heroes that humanity has to offer. You'll also have to upgrade these heroes to increase the chances of victory.
The thing to remember though is that there's more to the danger than talking dinosaurs and flesh-hungry lizardmen. This weird and wild army of invaders also has those malevolent Manborgs, lethal Lazer Raptors, and even the terrifying Tri-Cannon, which appears to be a hybrid of a Triceratops and minigun. Then there's also the diabolical Dictatorsaur.
Fighting the Dictatorsaur
The Dictatorsaur is best described as three of the worst villains of humanity sharing one giant dinosaur body. To even the odds, you'll need to give the best of what the human species has to offer. That means calling up different heroes like Julius Caesar and even Robin Hood. You can even recruit some of the great minds of super-science like Albert Einstein.
All the Time
In the game, time travel isn't simply going inside a retro police box or getting behind the wheel of a DeLorean. That's because you'll have to make use of time energy on various abilities to throw those Reptilians for a loop. You can create clones of your troops for example or call in reinforcements. It's even possible to create those time-gates to rush heroes across the map double time.
Do The Evolution
For those able to turn the tide without causing a temporal paradox, it’s possible to replay missions and take on those bonus objectives while also hopping between time periods to uncover secrets.
