A new Halloween event is all set to start this October 26 in For Honor. Titled as "Theater of Bones," it's set to reveal more about why the new season is all about Deceit. Indeed, the season is taking a darker turn as every learns that the forbidden offerings of the Ghost Festival is actually a trap.
It turns out that the souls of the warriors are being claimed by none other than the White Bone Spirit who later forces them to perform in her theater of evil illusions. Hope now lies in her nemesis who is Monkey King Wukong. The hero is more than ready to free these "performers" and run her show.
This fight with the White Bone Spirit offers a new and narrative-driven PvE game mode and set in a Chinese opera-inspired theater. Players need to fight their way across four theatrical scenarios, each one having a different set design and even special lighting and visual effects. It all culminates in facing the true form of the White Bone Spirit. During the event players can buy the Monkey King Wukong, which is a new Hero Skin for the Shaolin. There's also a new free Event Pass which allow players to unlock a new ornament, battle outfit, and mood effect.

New Season
The new season of For Honor started September 14 turns the atmosphere get rather otherworldly. It starts with the Ghost Festival, a Wu Lin celebration where they honor the dead through offerings and performances. However, the Wu Lin nobles seem to have invited warriors who disregarded the warnings given by the host and stole the forbidden food offerings that was for the departed. Because of this a mysterious illness has now started to take hold.
For the new season, players can look forward to new armor variations. There are also Hero Fests, where they get to try a hero free for a week and then buy them at a discounted price. The heroes available at Shaolin, Zhanhu, and Aramusha. There are also unique executions released at the start of each Hero Fest.
