Goblin Stone is Coming Out on the First Quarter of 2024

Orc Chop Games announced that its upcoming tactical turn-based RPG is launching in the first quarter of 2024 and to be available for the PC through Steam and the Epic Games Store. Goblin Stone is a turn-based RPG that features a roguelike twist. It gives players the chance to help Goblins survive as they're being hunted to near extinction. Players get to assemble a scrappy band of Goblins as they navigate a path to survival. It's not going to be easy since they'll have to fight against those nefarious adventurers, pompous elves, and even surly dwarves. At the same time, they'll also have to oversee an underground Lair.

For those who want to see what the game has to offer, a free demo is available on Steam. Anyway, making the game more interesting is that it's full narrated by Scottish voice actor James Smillie. It also has music courtesy of award-winning composer Peter McConnell, known for his work on Hearthstone, Psychonauts 2 and Monkey Island fame.

In Goblin Stone, players get to choose from hundreds of combinations between Goblin classes, weapons, abilities, and map traversal. In addition, the game has more than 60 different enemy types along with 25 Boss battles. Players also have the ability to grow & manage their very own lair. They can also experiment with the innovative breeding system where they can strategically fuse goblin genes and improve their attributes to customize their squad.

Talking about this upcoming release, the studio revealed that that they wanted the game to be what they wanted it to be. The studio went on to say that they've been working on it for many years, and it has since become a labor of love.

Overall, Goblin Stone offers a sprawling procedurally generated world where you have the choice to play it safe or risk and gamble as decide between events, shrines, and react to surprises.
