Here’s What’s Being Planned for Sengoku Dynasty

After more than a year in early access, version 1.0 of Sengoku Dynasty has been released. As players get to enjoy a new experience in feudal Japan, developer Superkami continues to work behind the scenes. The studio came out with the roadmap for the game.

Now one of the interesting features of the game is in players being able to build their own dynasty. An extended heir system is being planned which let players secure their legacy within Nata Valley. It’s going to let children stay in the village instead of going to the monastery. This should allow players to build the future of their dynasty closer to home.

Enemy Raids

Another feature coming to the game is enemy raids. That’s right! Towns are going to face enemy raids, which should add a new layer to combat. To protect the villagers, players need to come up with a strategy and defend against the threats. The good news is that those who want to have a rather peaceful playthrough can disable this feature before playing the game.

Seasonal Challenges

There’s also going to be seasonal events. What makes each season unique are the new status effects. To survive the toughest challenges that nature has to offer, players need to plan smartly and manage resources properly.

Other New Content

Here are the other new content that's being planned for the game:

  • Players can expect new animals to roam the lands, enriching the ecosystem, and adding fresh opportunities as they expand their domain.
  • A fresh map is going to be added which offers unique environments, resources, and challenges, perfect for exploring new playstyles and increasing replayability.
  • Procedural Quests to be added which give players new objectives and rewards along with dynamic goals to pursue as their story unfolds.
  • Spiritualism is set to deepen with a new karmic system and connect the actions of the players to a spiritual journey that impacts their dynasty’s path forward.
