Amazon Games officially revealed what it's calling as the Living Roadmap for New World: Aeternum. This new format should give the community more insight into what the development team is actively working on. These include what is in early development along with early ideas that are being explored.
Seasonal Worlds
The highlight of the new Living Roadmap highlights is what's going to happen in Season 7. It's expected to feature a lot of new content. One of these called Seasonal Worlds. These are dynamic and limited-time servers which have been designed to offer unique gameplay experiences. For example, there's going to be the always-on PVP, loot that drops on death, and unique items. Rewards and progression meanwhile are going to carry over after the season ends, which means the efforts of the players are never lost.
New Map
Players can also look forward to a new Outpost Rush map. This strategic PvP game mode is set to offer players a fresh battlefield that they conquer and test their skills. Outpost Rush is a team-based competition where players need to collect resources, capture objectives, and outmaneuver opponents in epic battles for dominance and rewards. It's going to have a preview weekend during Season 7 so players need to watch out for that.
Solo Trials
Solo Trials is a high stakes fight against iconic bosses and give players the chance to test their individual skill, strategy, and mastery. For Season 7, there's three new challenges taking the spotlight. These are A Mother’s Dream featuring Empress Zhou, Tempest’s Mind starring Isabella, and Daichi Soto.
Seasonal Events
Events like Legacy of Crassus and Rabbit’s Revenge are set to make a return to the game. This should offer players the chance to again experience these seasonal favorites. Certain events meanwhile, like the Legacy of Crassus, are offering enhanced rewards beyond level 700. More details are to be released at a later date.
Other New Content
Aside from what's already been mentioned, players should be happy to know that multiple gear sets are going to be removed for Unified Mutations. There's also going to be matchmaking introduced for M3. Of course, rewards are set to be improved for these Expeditions.
