There's a lot of cool things being planned this year for Lost Ark. One of these is a bunch of new content that's set to arrive this July. For starters, Solo-Mode is set to be added. There's also a support boost planned for Tier 3 Progression.
Raid Solo-Mode
The new Solo Mode is going to be added to give players the option to challenge the main content of the game alone like dungeons and raids. In a statement, Amazon Games revealed that this flexibility should allow those who want to practice raid mechanics before attempting to do that same raid with a group. This new feature should also be good for players having difficulty navigating party-finder.
Solo Mode supports raids beginning with the Valtan Legion Raid and all the way to the Ivory Tower Abyssal Dungeon. The raids available for Solo Mode are planned to be expanded in the future. Now while the gold amount is less than those in normal raids, progression materials and gold are still offered as rewards so that players won’t have too much trouble progressing even when alone. Solo Mode is also going to have special effects to help different class playstyles, and even support classes, play solo.
T3 Support Boost
A Tier 3 Progression boost is to be added as a way to help players advance in their Arkesian journey before Tier 4 releases. This T3 progression is being eased in these ways:
- Honing price up until 1580 is going to decrease.
- Crafting/Upgrade/Set Upgrade price is going to decrease.
- Elixir Transmuting price is going to decrease with supply increasing.
- Transcendence restoration price is going to decrease with supply of Dark Fire increasing.
- Permanent Engraving Support (5x3) and gems are going to be available to help player progression.
Endgame Plans
The studio also said that they’ve partnered with Smilegate RPG for a new end-game progression event that’s set to be active across the summer. This should alleviate some of the grind as the game heads to Tier 4.
