IronOak Games has released new content in For the King II. Into The Wild Character Pack is being offered at $7.99.
This new pack brings with it the whims of the wild which have inspired and driven two new playable characters to raise their tools and weapons for The Resistance.
The Beekeeper
The hives of the Beekeeper remain largely unaffected by the chaos that inhabits the realm of Fahrul. However, in addition to less stability and fewer customers, there's now more danger for the Beekeeper’s beloved pet pollinator. As a result the Beekeeper is now finally mucking in with the rest of the Resistance and bringing sweet treats and spicy stings.
The Angler
Moving to the many Seas of Fahrul, these are home to a wide range of aquatic creatures. These include the docile Prismatic Fish and all the way to the somewhat less docile Kraken. It is this cache of long-forgotten treasures and finned fiends in the ocean that the Angler is taking advantage of. Aside from fishing up treats, meals, and riches from its murky depths, the Angler also provides the party with movement-based combat mechanics.
Other New Content
In addition to the new playable characters, the pack also contains two new weapons with the Bludgeon Set and Harpoon Set. Other content include the Gold-tier Trait, Gold-tier Merc, Gold-tier Pet, and Gold-tier Cosmetic Skin.

For The King II brings players back to the fantastical land of Fahrul. This time around, they'll need to end the tyrannical reign of Queen Rosomon, who has turned against her subjects and allied with malevolent forces. For The King II features a blend of various gameplay styles as it combines elements of roguelites and tabletop games. Overall, it's not just the next installment in a successful series but rather a refinement of the mechanics of the first game and combined with innovative features designed to enhance gameplay.
