The gaming industry has witnessed yet another Kickstarter success story, as the dark fantasy ARPG title, Kristala, has raised a whopping $110,689. Thanks to the support of 1,674 backers, independent developer Astral Clocktower Studios can now fully fund the production of this highly anticipated game.
Kristala follows the adventures of a feline warrior in possession of the titular gift of Kristala. To join the esteemed Raksaka warriors, players must master the six magic specialties of the Sacred Kristals, uncover the origin of a dark curse, and confront mutated monsters and terrifying elites and bosses. The game offers a unique and detailed customization via character creation, stat leveling, magic leveling, and an innovative feline skill leveling tree. The game will be released on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Steam Deck, and Steam. With all campaign stretch goals unlocked, players will have the opportunity to train canine steeds, rescue familiars, and explore a special world where they can interact with mounts and familiars at rest, engaging in activities such as playing fetch to raise their affinity meter.
