A new collab is set to go live tomorrow in Summoners War. This is with the anime series Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. One of the new things to keep an eye out for are the new minigames.

The minigames are designed around the training process of the anime's main characters. Any Summoner can enjoy these minigames since the controls are simple. However, the fast-paced nature is sure to put those your reflexes and decision-making speed to the test to get that added layer of excitement.

Sprint Training

There are a total of three minigames. The first one is "Sprint Training," which goes live at the same time as the collab. It has Tanjiro running as far as possible while at the same time trying to avoid obstacles. As time passes, the running speed increases and the obstacle patterns become more challenging.

The game ends once Tanjiro crashes into a tree at the edge of the road. However, along the way, Summoners can collect Mana Stones and rice ball-shaped bonus score items to earn additional points. A special coin-shaped item gives combo points when collected in a row.

The final score is determined by the distance run, the items collected, and the combo streak.

Obstacle Training

The second minigame is "Obstacle Training," which comes out sometime in late January. It Zenitsu jumping across platforms to travel as far as possible.Falling between platforms or being pushed off the left side of the screen results in ending the game.

While crossing platforms, Summoners can encounter rice ball and dango-shaped bonus score items. The dango-shaped items also charge the Fever Gauge. When the Fever Gauge is full, a Fever Mode is activated. What that happens, rice balls pour down from the sky. Summoners need to collect as many as possible during this time for extra points

Water Dash Training

Finally there's "Water Dash Training." This one is set to be added to the game in February. It features Inosuke swimming as far as possible while trying to avoid underwater obstacles. During the swim, bubble items appear, which can be burst for points and combo boosts. The bubbles are crucial not only for increasing the score but also for maintaining the combo streak.

The score is determined by the swim distance, the number of bubbles burst, and the combo streak maintained.

The new collab also introduces characters from the anime to the game and you can read more about it here.
