Everyone is invited to an exclusive event in New World: Aeternum. Get ready to be one of the first to experience the newest battleground for Outpost Rush which is Coral Divide. This is available from February 7 to February 10.
Coral Divide takes Outpost Rush to a new level. It introduces a fresh location that's filled with unique features and opportunities for epic battles. It's mainly inspired by player feedback. Features of the map include being smaller and having fewer direct paths between the outposts. There are also fewer wide open areas and more controlled sightlines. All of these is to offer a more balanced and exciting experience. In a post, Amazon Games shared that its design team worked tirelessly through the stages of concept creation, building, testing, and iteration to bring this new battlefield for everyone to try.
Of course, this event isn't just about being able to experience the Coral Divide. There are also some truly awesome rewards. Players who join and complete a match each day during the event get to receive:
- Feb 7: Season XP Booster
- Feb 8: Gathering XP Booster
- Feb 9: Season XP Booster
- Feb 10: Weapon XP Booster
In addition, participants can earn one Gold Cursed Coconut per day for completing a match. These items are going to be delivered during the Legacy of Crassus Event.
Now for those wondering why only for a limited time, the studio revealed in a post that the Coral Divide preview is pretty much a step in refining the map before its full release. That means this mini event is a way to get that much needed player feedback to allow for further adjustments and improvements. The studio said that the team is eager to hear thoughts and insights of the players.
