Open-world Action RPG Hermit Arriving to Steam in 2026

Indie game developer Krabworks Game Studios announced that Hermit is releasing to Steam next year. This open-world action RPG features deep lore, magic, crafting, and exploration.

Hermit challenges players to uncover the mystery of the secretive Hermits as they travel across a vast medieval fantasy world. They'll navigate dark dungeons, create powerful spells and potions, and hunt monsters, to name a few. As part of the announcement, a trailer has been released which can be viewed here.

Rich Gameplay Mechanics

Hermit has players choose their own approach when it comes to the gameplay. For example, quests and character progression can often be completed in multiple ways. Progression paths meanwhile are flexible and often offer multiple solutions.
