Attention to all Tennos! It's time to prepare and rally allies as Operation: Plague Star 2025 makes a return to Warframe. It's going to be available on all platforms from September 10 to September 24.

The event follows an infested meteorite which has crashed and the impact has resulted in a pustulating boil within the Plains of Eidolon. This now has to be taken cared of before it reaches Cetus. Making things difficult is that Councilor Vay Hek actually has in possession a Toxin that can destroy the boil. However, he has no plans of helping. It's now up to the players to obtain the Toxin before this infestation grows out of control.

Those who join the event get the chance to earn new rewards that include:

  • Hemocyte Glyph
  • Hemocyte Sigil
  • Hemocyte Decoration
  • 1x Omni Forma available to buy
  • Protosomid Shoulder Guard
  • Aspirus Ephemera
  • Cryptanaut Necramech Helmet
  • Earth Console
  • Murex Console

Developer Digital Extremes revealed in a post that they'll share more information about the event once it launches.

Prime Caliban

While waiting for the event to launch, Tennos can work to get Prime Caliban. This new form sees Caliban having increased energy, shields, and even an extra Attack Polarity to the Arsenal. Caliban’s signature scythe, which is Venato Prime, helps slice across those foolish enough to get too close.

To earn Caliban Prime for free and his signature weapons, Tennos have to collect the required Blueprints via Void Relics and craft his components in the Foundry. To instantly unlock Caliban Prime, different packs are available from the Official Warframe website.

Warframe was launched in 2013 and since then has become a multi-generational game having more than 80 million registered players across various platforms. In the game, players get to be part of an ancient class of warriors known as the Tenno as they fight their way across an ever-expanding universe of over 18 planets and more than 55 Warframes, with four open worlds to discover.
