Prepare for a New Experience When Action Game Maker Comes Out this June

Gotcha Gotcha Games announced that its upcoming title Action Game Maker is coming out on June 16. This is going to be the newest addition to the long-running "Maker" series of game development toolkits. Created using the Godot Engine, the game gives players access to professional level functions without any need for programming.

Making things even more exciting is that it comes with a collection of samples and assets to provide the foundation that's needed to make the game players want a reality. The samples provided were made to be simple and pixel-style. What this means is that it becomes easy to open them up and make modifications or extensions and players can start creating their own original look. For those who already have their own assets, all they need to do is just import them.

While the game does build on the node-based visual scripting system which was created for "Pixel Game Maker MV," it does come with a lot of improvements. As mentioned, there's no need to have any knowledge of programming. All that needs to be done is connect up Actions, similar to RPG Maker’s Event Commands, and see the unique logic come together.

Players can choose what type of game they want to make whether its side-scrolling or top-down. They can even go for platformers and metroidvanias, with genres spanning across horror, adventure, shooting, and puzzles, to name a few.
