Those who are looking to satisfy their hunger for carnage are in for a treat. That's because the Turkulon is returning to New World: Aeternum. This Feathered Avenger of Death and its "fowl army" are making their presence felt from November 20 and all the way to December 3.
Now the Turkulon can be found in specific locations across Everfall, Brightwood, Mourningdale, Restless Shore, Windsward, Monarch’s Bluffs, and Cutlass Keys. Players need to team up with other playes and try to take down this level 66 open-world boss. Defeating it gives them rewards and players need to deal a minimum amount of damage to obtain rewards.
Upon its death, the Turkulon drops rewards, and these include:
- The Drumstick of Death Flail Skin (9% Drop Chance)
- The Grand Gobbler War Hammer Skin (20% Drop Chance)
- Massive Turkey Leg (100% Drop Chance)
- Feast-O-Plenty Food Trophy (7% Drop Chance)
- Turkuless, Disgruntled Fowl Pet (12% Drop Chance)
- Turkulon Egg Seat (9% Drop Chance)
- Turkulon’s Juicy Calves Boots Skin (11% Drop Chance)
The thing to remember is that players are guaranteed to receive all of the rewards after killing Turkulon 16 times. For example, say they still have to obtain The Grand Gobbler War Hammer Skin after 15 kills. What happens is that the Turkulon drops it on its next death.
Regular Turkey
For those not yet ready for Turkulon, they can get regular turkeys which hand out different loot. Regular turkeys are scattered across the map and it's more than likely that players are going to spend more time skinning than fighting them. Regular turkeys have a 20% chance of dropping Diamond Gypsum and Turkulon’s Claw Skinning Knife. Turkey's Treasure meanwhile has a 33% drop chance.
