Prepare to Defend Ancient Greece When Legendary Hoplite Comes Out on February 2

Humanity is in trouble as they are facing extinction from beasts and legendary races of Greek mythology. It's up to you to defend the gate and protect mankind in Legendary Hoplite. This game is coming out on February 2 for the PC through Steam.

You've been called in a war where the fate of mankind hangs in the balance. Play as the young commander Dio and make use of different weapons like spears and swords to defeat the monsters that are attacking Ithaca. These monsters are doing what they can to breach the defenses which means you'll need to come up with combat tactics and think carefully about the power balance.

Since the weapons of the world won't be enough to repel the attacks of the monsters, Dio is going to need ones that have deadly power. These are artifacts that have been blessed none other by the Gods themselves.

Beat the Hordes

Weapons won't be enough since you'll also need to ensure that your armies are strategically arranged. In addition, you'll also have to upgrade them so that they'll be able to stand against strong monsters and even the more unusual enemies. Look forward to the classic skill tree upgrade system which, when combined with the sets of war technique, give you that much needed versatility. It's also possible to change them which gives you access to tactical options and let your army defeat those monsters.

The Monsters and the War

As mentioned, the enemies are beasts and legendary races from Greek mythology. It was the legions of the dead which started the war and gathered the army to attack Ithaca. The beasts and monsters meanwhile took advantage of the situation and also advanced their forces. It won’t be enough to focus on these monsters as you’ll also need to keep a close eye on the bosses. These are the creatures of legend and are now using their primordial strength to get through your defense.

Now there's still some time before the game is released and while waiting you can enjoy Legendary Hoplite: Arachne’s Trial (free prologue). It's already available and offers the first 10 levels along with two boss battles. Any progress made in the prologue can be transferred to the full game once it's released.
