Public Playtest for Fellowship to Start February 24

Chief Rebel announced that they're holding a Public Playtest for its upcoming title Fellowship. It's going to run from February 24 to March 3 on Steam. During the Public Playtest, players on Steam get to experience plenty of dungeon runs along with being able to choose from a diverse roster of heroes.

The Public playtesting starts February 24 at 10:00 a.m. (PT) and ends on March 3 at 10:00 a.m. (PT). For the Public Playtest, there's going to be a North America, Europe, and Asia server available. This playtest also gives players the chance to experience six heroes which are two Tanks, two DPS, and two Healers. For the dungeon runs, players can take on either the Ranked Dungeons or Quick Play Dungeons.

One of the changes compared to the Closed Alpha playtest held back in August 2024 is the addition of a new DPS hero in Tariq. Players can also look forward to the new gameplay systems like the unique gem and item transmutation system. There's also the world and party chat, new Curses, new Gear, new Mounts, new visual element improvements. Reworks of previous gameplay mechanics have also been made based on Closed Alpha player feedback.

In a statement, Chief Rebel CEO and Game Director Axel Lindberg revealed that the public playtest is a way to open the gates and give all players the chance to experience the game. He added that the Closed Alpha playtest held last year showed the support and feedback the game had from the community. He went on to say that the upcoming public playtest should allow for more players to join in on the fun and share their feedback and suggestions. This should help shape the game before it comes out in Early Access sometime this year.

Fellowship is a multiplayer online dungeon adventure that’s set in an exciting fantasy setting and offers endlessly scaling dungeon runs. Players need to focus on working together as a team with a focus on skill, cooperation, and strategy to defeat bosses, collect loot, and work together to overcome ever-present challenges.
