Tableflip announced that FATE: Reawakened is officially available worldwide. It's been launched on various platforms that include the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and the Nintendo Switch. The game was released as well for the PC and over on Steam is being offered at a 20% discount until March 19.
This title is a full remaster of the original FATE series and remains true to its classic roots. There are new things to look forward to considering that the game is able to revitalize this classic dungeon crawler series. In addition, it also offers complete graphical overhauls and added language support. It has the original game as well as the sequels FATE: Undiscovered Realms, FATE: The Traitor Soul, and FATE: The Cursed King.
The graphical update for FATE: Reawakened is not only for all assets but also having an updated UI. For example, the improved lighting and particle effects result in bringing the darkest depths of the game’s dungeons to a whole new level.
Fans of the old version and new fans can look forward to enjoying new badges, emoticons, and profile backgrounds, particularly for the Steam-specific release. There are also a bunch of new achievements across all platforms. There are also new localizations like Spanish, German, French, Korean, Japanese, and Simplified Chinese language support.
Pioneer of the Genre
The FATE series is celebrated and recognized as one of the early pioneers when it comes to the ARPG genre. It's also considered as a notable precursor to games that include Torchlight. In the game, players go on an epic adventure and along the way fight vicious monsters, collect unique weapons, and even learn magical spells. It's been cited by a lot of players as their first dungeon crawler. FATE’s legacy is preserved and enhanced with the Reawakened remaster since it conserves all the beloved characteristics of the original while giving the series a good polish.
