The Royal Highlands expansion forPalia has arrived and it brings a lot of new content for everyone to enjoy. One of these are Campsites.
Campsites have been scattered across the Royal Highlands and for each real-world day, two of them are going to be active for players to discover. These spots offer little moments of respite along the journey while also serving multiple purposes.
For example, each campsite has a campfire that let players cook. There's also a Traveler’s Cache that could contain useful rewards. Once players find and collect from a cache, that campsite is them marked on their map. This makes it easier for them to track it down, especially if it returns to the same location on another day.
Players can also rummage piles at these campsites and these offer a daily opportunity to uncover artifact pieces and other fresh finds.
Campfire Recipes
The new expansion also introduces players to new campfire recipes which have been designed to be more approachable for different playstyles compared to traditional cooking. The Campfire recipes are great for those who are always on the go and have no plans of heading back home or even engaging with the full cooking system.
When using a campsite, players need to pull ingredients directly from their storage. That means there's no need to carry all ingredients. Anyway, once the food is finished, it's reserved for players for a short time before becoming available for others to pick up.
In addition to Camp Sites, the Royal Highlands expansion continues the Main Story with the introduction of a new chapter that picks up directly where the Elderwood leaves off.
