Studio Reveals Updated Roadmap for Endless Legend 2

With the latest update for Endless Legend 2 now available, Amplitude Studios released their updated roadmap. Since the launch of the game in early access back in September 2025, there have been 34 updates rolled out.

The first big update was Steady Tides, which came out in February 2026. It introduced changes to the victory conditions along with hero skills and militia. Then in March 2026, we had the Echoes of Creation. It added custom factions and endless monsoon. The latest is the Voice of the People update which makes changes to the Public Opinion. This update also introduces rework to the Kin of Sheredyn.

Coming Soon

The next major update is expected to arrive sometime in May or probably June. Kin of Sheredy once again gets a rework but this time on quests related to the faction. There's also going to be a new feature known as Retaliation. Players can look forward to the new quest window and the militia panel.

Balance changes are also in the works mainly focused on Districts Costs. In particular, the development team is testing out various solutions when it comes to the district scaling costs.

Other Updates

There are other changes being worked on though no release date was announced. For now it seems a lot of it is focused on factions. There's going to be a new playable faction and faction world quests. There's even going to be a community minor faction.

Improvements to narration are also being planned. The team revealed in a post that they'll need extra time since they'll be enhancing the presentation along with "adding more art."

Endless Legend 2 is a fantasy strategy game where players lead wildly varied factions. They'll need to build grand empires and wage planet-spanning wars. Making things difficult are the cataclysmic events that bring havoc on the natural order.
