Twin Earth announced that a demo for Castle Craft is now on Steam. With this, players can test just how good their fortress-building skills are especially when it comes to attacking relentless enemy hordes. The game features a voxel sandbox creativity and combines it with action-packed siege battles. This is a game where everything built can and can probably be destroyed.
Defend the Castle
Castle Craft puts players in the role of a lord of their own castle. While they get the chance to build their dream castle, it's not going to be easy. That's because there are relentless and regularly evolving hordes of enemies that are more than happy to fling themselves at the castle on a regular basis. The good news is that players get access to a wide range of traps and mechanics that when combined allow for maximum destruction.
Help Available
There’s more good news. While they do play the part of a loyal vassal, players don’t need to build each block individually. There’s also no need to gather resources. That’s because players can count on the artisan economy to make sure that resource collection is easy. The flourishing economy ensures that it’s possible to automate the process of creating increasingly impressive structures. Players can use the fruits of the villager’s labor to train a fearless band of defenders. Pairing them with the ingenious traps should result in a fortress that’s not only formidable but also fun.
Fight with the Troops
Players can join the battle as they wield unique magical abilities with the power to terraform the landscape. It’s possible to turn the tide of battle and with it prove their mettle. The challenge of defending the castle becomes difficult as the game progresses since enemy units come equipped with wilder and more challenging abilities and traits.
