A new update has arrived for Bellwright and it's one that should excite a lot of players. Dubbed as Forestry, this is the first of many updates that's coming to the game.
What does this new update offer? For starters, Forestry introduces players to a building where they can grow saplings and then use them to replant nearby forests. This should allow settlements to have a sustainable source of wood. It also avoids the need to create new outposts deeper and deeper into Karvenia. Specifically, what it does is add Forester and allow players and NPCs to grow saplings and replant forests. Tree Seeds have been added as well as these ones drop when harvesting saplings and young trees.
Staging Ground
The update also adds an exciting feature which is Staging Ground. This is a place where players can prepare their companions just before going on a new journey. Companions that are assigned automatically stock up on food, equipment, and arrows from nearby storages. This new feature is a good improvement on resource management.
Players should be happy to know that a food slider setting has been added to squad menu. This allows them to specify just how much they should bring when commanded to Staging Ground. Food Bag was also added which let players and NPCs store food in a separate container instead of the inventory.
Tier 3 Buildings
The new update also introduces tweaks and improvements to Tier 3 buildings. The Bakery for example can now feed each of the villagers with a higher bread output. In particular, the Bread output in the Bakery has been increased from 1 to 8 per craft.
The Windmill meanwhile now produces more Flour with the output increase from 1 to 5 per craft. The crafting time for Flour has also been reduced and is now at 2.5 min from 5 min. Another change is that the worker job category for Windmill is now considered as Crafting rather than Cooking. By the way, Wheat is now categorized as Resource instead of Food Ration. This means it can no longer be stored in the Food Cellar.
