Something new is coming soon to The Elder Scrolls Online. The Gold Coast Bazaar arrives in the game on March 25 and kicks off with Season Zero on April 2. This new in-game storefront allows players to obtain classic collectible rewards they may have missed out on in the past.
In a post, ZeniMax Online Studios revealed that in the game's long history, they've introduced a wide range of limited-time collectible rewards. Hundreds of unique rewards items have been added and for those who missed on getting them, it was "often impossible to get again."
With the Gold Coast Bazaar, it would now be possible to bring back those rewards that were only available before a specific window. The items can be claimed using a new currency called as Trade Bars.
Trade Bars
There are different ways to earn Trade Bars in The Elder Scrolls Online. One of these is through the free version of the Season’s Tamriel Tome. In Season Zero for example, as mch as 9,000 Trade Bars are going to be part of the Tome’s free offerings. There's also an extra 1,500 Trade Bars available from the paid versions of the Tome.
Trade Bars can also be earned from different other activities like participating in in-game events. When Update 49 launches on March 9, Trade Bars replace Event Tickets and have no cap associated with them. Players receive 100 Trade Bars for every one Event Ticket they hold. In addition, event rewards, which include morphing collectibles, can be converted to maintain their value now that they are available for Trade Bars instead of Tickets.
Bazaar Rewards
As mentioned, the Bazaar arrives on March 25 and brings with it an initial offering of items. However, once Season Zero arrives April 2, the full breadth of rewards becomes available. There should be around 100 collectibles in total purchasable from the store at that point.
Some Bazaar offerings are planned to rotate in and out with the start and end of each Season. However, a lot of consistent evergreen items are going to be offered. The goal with this rotation is to ensure there’s always a healthy representation of different types of rewards available at all times.
The Gold Coast Bazaar is part of the new feature to be introduced with Seasons. Learn more about it here.
